I have been working for the Ministry of Agriculture for 10 years. I am an agricultural engineer, Researcher, Professional Academic Advisor, Consultant and Agricultural Innovator, I have also held various management positions within the Ministry and outside of it. I have contributed to the development of Sustainable Agriculture in the country through the application of good soil conservation practices, creation and application of bioproducts for pest control, crop rotation, regenerative agriculture, Agroecology among others. I am aware of government regulations on agriculture; its implementation and subsequent training for producers and the private sector. I have leadership, management, marketing, sales, research, consulting and agricultural advisory and business development skills. Thanks to my work with the Government, I have ventured into and managed plant breeding, soil conservation and biological control projects. I also have 7 years of experience in agroecological pest management, creating phytosanitary strategies and training staff in the application of chemical and biological agents and alternative methods. I have been General Director of the Bioproducts Subprogram for agricultural use in the local Government for the last 5 years, fully attending Urban, Suburban, Organoponic Farms, nurseries, seedbeds and greenhouses. I have had significant achievements in reducing deforestation by up to 25% in the province through medium and long-term forest management plans. I have also created phytosanitary strategies that have reduced the rate of pests and diseases in high-demand crops by 30%. I have carried out activities of promotion and commercialization of products and services both for the Ministry of Agriculture and for private or individual companies related to agriculture. As part of my experience at the Ministry of Agriculture, I have managed business aspects of private and state companies such as agricultural production cooperatives, credit and service cooperatives, and individual productive units.
