Mr. Walter Otieno is an Agricultural Biotechnologist with over 6 years' experience in agriculture, food and nutritional security, consultancy, sales, research and training in both public and private sectors. He is currently a Part-time Instructor of Agriculture and Horticulture at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology and previously an intern at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperatives. He has experience in the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, value chain development and research designs. His areas of interest include sustainable development, climate change and food and nutritional security, value chain development and evaluation of public policies in agriculture. Mr. Otieno has experience in producing high quality written proposals, technical notes and reports. He is self-motivated, interactive and a great team player, who can work well in a multicultural environment as he aims at being in the top management team in the organisation.
