My career has also seen its share of achievements; while I was working as an Agronomist and team coordinator of seed production, processing and marketing department in Oromia seed Enterprise (OSE), Program officer in SASAKAWA Global 2000 Ethiopia and a project Agronomist in European Cooperative for Rural Development (EUCORD) for Barley Organizing of Supply and Training in South east and Central Oromia (BOOST SECO) project. I have learned and accomplished a great deal in my 12years of experience in Seed demonstration, seed production, processing, marketing, Value chain management and capacity building. One of my proudest moments to date occurred while I was an Agronomist at EUCORD were capacity building, malt barley seed demonstration, farmers’ field visit, Organizing field days, market linkage and coordination of malt barley grain collection and Seed promotion and sales.
Therefore, I believe myself to be an excellent general farm worker.One of my highest achievements was the production and distribution of 376430.5 quintals of different crops seed for Oromia seed enterprise and Establishment of five seed producing Cooperatives by ISSD project in Boneya Boshe and Sibu Sire Woredas of East Wolega Zone and linking of malt barely producers with market.
