We are looking for 1 enthusiastic individual to become part of our amazing team on a backpacker-friendly farm. Over the past 6-12 months, we've had great success employing workers from countries such as Argentina, Ireland, Japan, and France, and we pride ourselves on providing a fun, friendly, and supportive work environment, both in and outside of work.
Key Details:
- Milking 300-350 Jersey and Jersey-cross cows through an 18-a-side swing-over dairy with auto cup removers
- Split calving (autumn/spring)
- 40-45 hours/week, including 4-6 milkings per week and general farm duties
- Fortnightly roster with scheduled days off
- Free accommodation and Wi-Fi in a shared house
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 months dairy farm and milking experience (12+ months experience preferred)
- A current driver’s license and own transport
- Fluent in English and able to follow instructions
- Ability to sign off on your 88-day regional work visa
- Located in the Numurkah/Katunga area (Vic 3636), 35 minutes from Shepparton, 30 minutes from Cobram, 10 minutes from Katunga, and 10 minutes from Numurkah
