I am applying for the position of Food  dipartment restaurant now

I am a dedicated, hard worker looking for an opportunity to begin a career in the food industry. I have basic computer skills, very good math skills and I have the ability to manage my time wisely to perform all required duties.

I am a good communicator and I possess excellent people skills. I have the ability to interact with the customers in a friendly manner and to take orders or to deliver food to the tables. I also have the ability to maintain a calm and friendly composure when dealing with unhappy or difficult customers.

I am very observant with the ability to clean the tables according to company procedures and to keep the dining area clean and presentable. I can also wash dishes, fill napkins, straws and condiment trays. I have the ability to learn how to prep foods and to assist with other kitchen duties. I can also help keep an eye on inventory and inform management when something is running low.

I have the ability meet the physical requirements of this job and I am a team player who enjoys helping out co-workers to ensure the guests receive excellent service. I am able to work different shifts, I am dependable and I have a real desire to learn and advance in this industry.
