Casual Truck Driver - Sorghum Harvest 2025
Location: Jondaryan / Bowenville Area, Western Downs

Licence Required: HC Licence (Single trailer only)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Casual Truck Driver to commit to the sorghum harvest in January/February 2025 on our client’s dryland cropping property. This position will involve grain carting both on-farm and to local depots. The driver will operate a 2018 International truck and must ensure its upkeep and maintenance throughout the season.

Duties:

• Operate the company’s 2018 International truck, ensuring safe and efficient transport of grain.
• Maintain and care for the truck in a fastidious manner throughout employment.
• Assist with silo and auger operations around the on-farm complex as required.
• Transport grain both on-farm and to local depots.

Requirements:

• HC truck licence (minimum), with experience driving a single trailer.
• Clean driving history.
• Physically fit and able to assist with on-farm duties when needed.
• Commitment to the sorghum harvest season, starting in January or February 2025 (weather dependent).
• Ability to start promptly when harvest begins.

Accommodation Options:

• Single private accommodation with communal kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities on-site.
• Alternatively, you can bring your own caravan or camper trailer (BYO food).
