CAREER OBJECTIVE.I am a horticulturist from the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), aiming to contribute my 
professional skills in horticulture and crop production. A highly motivated individual looking for a 
challenging position that utilizes my experience and skills in the agriculture sector to translate vision 
into reality for the horticulture sub-sector and help institutions and organizations fulfil their mission 
and vision while allowing me an opportunity to grow professionally. I had more than one 
(4) years of working experience in horticulture providing technical support to farmers on good 
agricultural practices (GAP) on input use such as seed selection, fertilizer application and chemical 
application. 

WORK EXPERIENCE 
September 2023 to date: A Field Supervisor at Bondeni Machame Flower Company. 
Duties and Responsibilities: - 
•
Supervising fertilizers, Foliar applications, chemicals and drenching in weekly program. 
•
Supervising Harvest of flowers every morning in the field. 
•
Supervising grading of flowers in a pack house. 
•
Conducting and Supervising field trials aim for increasing crop production. 
•
Supervising land preparation and beds making 
•
Supervising all field managements practices including pest and disease, weeding, irrigation, 
pruning, sanitation. 
•
Supervising uprooting of bulbs and drying programs in the field. 
•
Scouting around the field for pests and diseases problem. 
•
Supervising all chemical treatments for bulbs. 
•
Reporting a serious problem immediately to Crop Manager. 

September 2021 – 2022: Intern at Tanzania Coffee Research Institute (TACRI). 
•
Coffee agronomic practice, Seed and Vegetative propagation through grafting and cuttings. 
•
Annual hybridization, Emasculation, Isolation of flowers and Hand pollination. 
•
Knock off all flower buds. 
•
Managing on station Research experiments. 
•
Technical support to farmers in rural areas of Kilimanjaro Region 
•
Technical support to farmers on soil analysis for coffee production in Kilimanjaro. 
•
Training farmers on proper use of Pesticides and herbicides in coffee production. 
•
Organizing farmers exhibition through farm demo plots for technology adoption to farmers.
